The compost is made by organical wastes and excrements taken in dry toilets, we purify this, and you have a wonderful compost!!!

Organical horts
This afternoon we walked to a wonderful biological garden after having some informations about the creation and the operation of it. We took some photos of this "hort".
Eco-House in Vilafranca del Penedès
Today we visited an ecological house here in Vilafranca.
The owners of that house are used to live from natural resources, e.g. you can find some suncollectors on the roof. They totally heat the water and produce electricity. They drink rainwater and they take a shower with that water, they have a "dry toilet" (it works without water) and they recycle their excrements and use them in the garden to fertilize their fruits and vegetables.
They have 2 underground containers that collect all the water falling from the sky in their garden.
The walls are very thick and in consequence of that the heat isn't as intensive as it is outside in the heat of the sun.
So it was very interesting to get new knowledge about eco-houses and how they work.

Cleaning up the stream of Llitrà
This morning all the teenager cleaned up the stream of Llitrà. We picked up the garbage that was in the area where we were. We have taken many types of materials: plastics, papers, glasses and others.
The reception in the town hall
On monday afternoon all the teams from towns all over Europe were given a warm welcome by the mayor and a french-speaking guy, whose name I do not know (but I think, that this is no problem, because, as you might know, names are only half the life, which Confucius said, or so... !?).
After the speech of the mayor we got some bags with some maps and a t-shirt, that we took on for the group photo, which you can see below:

Yesterday we did an orienteering race into the city of vilafranca. We had to find different places where other people marked on our maps to proove that we passed there. There were ten places to visit. We had the choice to do it running or walking. Martin, Cedric and Petra got there first. Then we ate an icecream on a terrace and we went home .

The morning in Vilafranca
Yesterday morning we had do a little sightseeing tour in Vilafranca. It was very interesting to see the church, the town hall, lots of historic buildings and the museum from a traditional festival of Vilafranca.
NEWS IN THE CATALAN'S NEWSPAPER
So the YouTo exchange program in Vilafranca has already found its way into the media. Not only are we followed every day by the cameras of a local TV station but one can find some articles in several Catalonian newspapers about our articles.
Now we are waiting for the London Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine and Le Monde to call for interviews.
